La Renommée is a Parisian institution reborn in the heart of the 1st arrondissement, just steps from the Louvre and the Bourse de Commerce. Housed in a building dating to 1823 whose gilded facade once advertised the grocer 'À la Renommée des Herbes Cuites', the room is a romanticized vision of old Paris, all warm wood, antique paintings, chandeliers, and leather banquettes. It is the first European address from the American Hogsalt group, the team behind celebrated spots like Au Cheval and 4 Charles Prime Rib, and its American executive chef reworks the great classics of French gastronomy with a subtle New York influence. Expect XXL escargots de Bourgogne, Landes foie gras, sole meunière carved tableside, rabbit pasta, and a 42-day dry-aged prime rib to share alongside signatures like the West Village-style double cheeseburger and a New York strip.
